Last of the Water Fun

Between our crazy moving agenda, Mark and I used our packing breaks to enjoy the water for the last times before we moved.
One of the days, it was beautiful. The sun was shining and water was like glass.
The other time, it was a little overcast and the sand had seen cleaner days.  It was still nice to go though.
We also took Lucy to the splash pad for the last time.  I didn't realize this was such a commodity until I moved. It doesn't require that you live by an ocean to enjoy the splash pad. Why don't more states have these?  I miss this cheap summer fun. Lucy loved it.

I didn't realize that I put those sunglasses on to protect her from the sun and water until she stuck her face straight in.
This park also had swings and a slide Lucy got to go on.
Lucy also got to enjoy the water on a day we didn't expect.  For FHE the last Monday in June, our friends in the Fort Lauderdale ward had their taco truck parked pretty close by so Mark and I went for Mexican that night.  It was so nice to have good mexican since South Florida really lacks in that department.  Lucy was also  satisfied because their was a big fountain to play in while we waited for our food.  She got soaked and loved it.
The last thing I wanted to do before we moved was drive to Marco Island on the west coast and see the sunset.  The beach at Marco Island was so wide with really fine sand.  Lucy had a blast running for a long time in it.
The only problem was that because the beach was so wide, it wasn't a short walk to get to the water.  Lucy kept wanting to sit down on the way and pick up the sand.  It seemed like a really long walk to me.
The water was so warm and made for a relaxing time watching the sunset go down.
I am so glad we came because the sunset was worth it. This sunset had a lot of red hues in it.  It was one of my favorites that I have seen.
