Lucy weighs 2 1b. 6 oz now. She is tolerating the milk well enough that they are able to keep increasing the amount and are able to add fortifier to the milk. The fortifier adds more calories so she gains weight faster. Lucy has been under the light again because her bilirubin levels were high when they checked on Thursday. They were worried that she had a UTI that was causing her levels to be high. The urine culture so far shows no UTI. Last night when we visited, we noticed her eyes looked swollen. During the night the nurse found she had an eye infection so she is also being treated for that right now. Lucy is one month old today!

wahoo! looks like she's doing well! a few set backs along the way but still moving forward. :) I remember how frustrating that was. One day they're doing really well and you're on top of the world, the next day you get bad news and you're super depressed and scared, over and over again. Hang in there! Hopefully she can come home before too long and you can cuddle and hold her to your heart's content. :)
What a smarty pants! She knows she is one month old! I absolutely love seeing updates here. She is such a beautiful little angel! I look forward to meeting her! I am not calling you, because I want you to call me with ANY needs. I hope you three are all getting some good rest! We sure love you!
