Bethany and Mark--I'm so grateful that Lucy will be coing home!! Margaret has kept me posted about Lucy and we have prayed for her. We're so happy that she is growing and progressing so well! Lots of love, Aunt Gay
CONGRATS!!!! What an amazing and probably a little nerve racking day that was. Sooooo happy for you and excited that one journey has ended and another has begun.
wow!!!! I can't believe they gave you a difinitive date like that! AWESOME! With Ava is was "you'll take her home tomorrow" "no wait, she stopped breathing last night" "o.k. today" "no wait, she didn't do well this morning" like 3 times before we actually took her home. They finally told us just a few hours before we took her home that it was actually happening. We were so surprised. I'm so excited for you! Also, the bonding is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much easier/better once they're home.
Are they sending her home with monitors? Cause it's horrible. I'm not gonna lie. The constant beeping and running into their room because you think they've stopped breathing or their heart stopped, it's crazy. No sleep. Makes you crazy. Call if you need to talk. Good luck!
