Mark and I decided to take advantage of the long weekend during the Martin Luther King holiday so we flew to Charleston, South Carolina. We visited the Charleston museum where we saw artifacts from the American Revolution and the Civil War. We also walked the streets in downtown Charleston and saw the amazing houses by the beach dating back to the late 1700s. My favorite part was visiting the oldest preserved plantation in America which was built in 1738. It was so neat to think about all the history. We stayed in the cutest bed and breakfast place in downtown Charleston that was built in the 1800s. It was so fun! I only wish Mark had more breaks from school and of course more money so we could do this every weekend!

Wow! You guys are amazing! It's fun to read all about what you're up to :) It all sounds very exciting! You should use your Delta connections to come to a west side beach sometime. :) We'd love to hang out! It was so fun to see you over Christmas! Have a great week!
those pictures look like you had a ton of fun. it's always fun to go on vacations... but then it is nice to come home. how is everything else going with you and mark? i hope all is well.
Sounds like a great vacation. That would be so cool to see all those houses and buildings - I love architecture. I feel really bad that I missed Emily's wedding reception. Does she have a blog? or do you have her email address? You'll have to let me know next time your in SL and we can go out to lunch!
I just found your blog through Melissa's and I was SO excited! I can't believe you live in Florida...I live in Atlanta!! If you're ever up here or us down there, we will have to get together! It looks like you are having so much fun there. It's an adventure, isn't it? I love it! You look so cute and so happy! It's fun to see what you are up to. Also, that is an awesome job you have with Delta! Don't you love hook-ups? I also love your outfit. :) I am so excited I can follow your blog now and stay up to date with you! I always try to send you my update emails, but they always get returned, so I'm glad I've finally found you. I am just about to have my second little boy in less than two weeks and life is good!
