June 2014--Happy Moments

Now that it is 2015 and I am looking back on 2014 I really think that 2014 was one of my favorite years yet.  There were just so many happy moments.  June was no exception.  These were my goodies during the month...

Lucy said to me when I was scared about a cockroach in our house,"Mom, do you want me to hold your hand?"  So she held my hand and kept looking at me like she loved me.

Lucy came up to me a couple of times, took my arm, rubbed her hand up and down it and said, "Mom, do you want me to warm you up?"  Lucy is so cute and so sweet!!

We were driving in the car to Costco and Landon was being fussy so Lucy told him, "Landon, don't worry.  We're just going to Costco. We're just going to Costco buddy. "  I said, "Look at the horseys!"  Lucy said, "Look at the horseys Buddy!"

The other night Lucy walked up to me out of the blue and said, "Mama.." then gave me a big hug.  My heart melted.

Some of my favorite moments are when they laugh together like the day when they both held onto the rocking footstool and Lucy would rock the stool.

Landon has been pushing this little kid chair across the floor like he's walking with a walker.  When I said," Landon! You are so amazing!  Look at him!" Lucy started pushing the garbage can around the floor and started walking slowly like a grany and said, "Mommy! I'm walking! Look Mommy I'm walking!"

I love how when I lay Landon down in his crib he jumps right back up unless I put a soft silky blanket down first.  With the soft blanket down, Landon jumps into it so he can feel the softness on his cheeks.   I think he is so sweet how he stays there and relishes in the sweetness.

I also love when Landon smiles at me and  raises his eyebrows up and down.

I love how Landon is sticking out his tongue all the time, crawling around.

I love how he screams like a girl. :)

One day I found Landon crawling mischieveously in our pantry.  

I found the evidence!  Baby chocolate hands all over my boxes of food... 

and one messy chocolate face! He had somehow discovered a leftover chocolate orange the we had saved from Christmas.  He was really enjoying it when he got caught!

Like always, our park trips were happy...

especially Landon!  The moment he gets in the swing, the giggles begin. 

Happy moments for me always come when I get to see my babies sleeping. 

These Easter basket was one of Lucy's greatest toys.  She has it full of all her swimming clothes in this one.  Notice her lovely outfit she chose and her beautiful headband with her braid.

One of Mark's patient made Lucy an under the bed monster. Lucy seemed to like it even though it looked a little scary to me.

June was no exception for Lucy's happy moments on hikes with her Daddy.

This toy was a Landon favorite. 

Landon's other favorites included grapfruit... 

and gogurts.  Landon would not stop pestering with his baby talk the moment they appeared.  Lucy loved sharing hers with him during this time.  I thought they were such cute friends. 

These next moments were only happy because I chose to laugh at the humor instead of cry. :)  One day Lucy and Landon had fun smearing a tupperware of cornmeal ALL OVER  the kitchen and floor.  Those tiny granuels were everywhere but they were having such a great time!

The other messy times that cracked me up were the high chair messes created by Landon.  He managed to get baby food smeared all in his hair. Part of the problem was that he demanded to hold his own spoon. 

This was the best Father's Day present I will ever get! :)  With this grill, Mark started making dinners frequently. 

We were very happy to have Matt, Emilee, and Max come visit!  
Mark had a ton of fun with Matt on the golf course and I had a ton of fun getting to hold Max and hang out with Em for a day. We hope they come back in 2015!

I drove up to North with the kids for the Broadbent summer party and for Cory's 40th birthday party. It was great to visit with everyone--especially Ang since she had just shared some big marriage news!
