Lucy Turns Three

 

When Landon was six days old, Lucy turned three! 

Luckily it didn't take much energy to make it fun for Lucy.  Grandma Mari was in town and Mark was home from work. We went for an outing at her favorite park...

 

...opened presents in the backyard...

 

and had pink cake.  Lucy loved when we sang happy birthday to her.  She kept asking to do it again and I think we sang the last line and let her blow out her candles about 5 times. She would sing along with us and clap her hands with us when we cheered. I think she made some good memories this birthday because when she's sees her past presents around our house she will say, "Are these from happy birthday?"

While partied in the kitchen, Landon slept through the whole thing. 

Lucy's birthday came at a perfect time.  She probably needed a special day for her since Landon came.  We had great time celebrating while my mom was in town.
