We enjoyed having real winter weather this past season with actual snow. Lucy was able to build her first snowman with Mark's help.
Lucy loved the snowman so much that her favorite song to sing since has been "Once There Was a Snowman". Just today she asked again if we could go outside and build a snowman.

Here she is giving the snowman hugs.
Lucy especially like them because they were smothered in her favorite mixed berries.
Later that day, we surprised Mark with some homemade sugar cookies.
We also got to celebrate the birth of my new niece Maylee at her blessing. Looks like I started off as the favorite Aunt from the beginning this time--just look at that big smile!
We also got a chance to try out some of the fun things to do around Cedar this past Winter. One of the things included swimming at the aquatic center by our house. Look at those cute little stick legs! Who would have guessed after she had such chubby legs as a baby?
Another fun thing Cedar City offers is storytime every week at the Frontier Homestead State Park. Lucy and I had a fun time checking out all the wagons after storytime one week.
Mark has been loving all the hiking there is to do around this area. He has especially loved being within an hour to Zion National Park.

Lucy loves to hike with Mark so there have been a couple of times just the two of them have gone out together.
One of our highlights towards the end of winter was having my parents and sister Ang come visit. Ang and I got to go play tennis and it was so nice! I hadn't played in so long! Some of the other great things we did while they visited was the unforgettable boxing competition on the Kinect, going to dinner even though it tasted like school lunch,

and hiking in Kolob Canyon.
We had great weather while they were in town. We got the best of both worlds--it was so nice to be in the sun and there was just enough snow for Lucy and Grandma to build a snowman.
